Talking Scrivener on the WRITE NOW! Workshop Podcast

For those who are wondering, I’m close to finishing Scrivener 3 Compile Mastery for Windows, so look for an announcement on that in the next few weeks. Until then, you might enjoy an interview I did about Scrivener on the WRITE NOW! Workshop Podcast with Kitty Bucholtz.

We had a lot of fun chatting about our favorite features and how we use them, as well as the best strategy for getting started with the software.

If you prefer video, you can even watch us on YouTube. (And, yes, I do need better lighting for my rare on-camera appearances. Hey, I’m used to sharing my screen with you, not my face.)

Find the episode on your favorite podcast app, or at one of the links below.

Scrivener for memoir writing: a podcast interview with The Life Story Coach

The Life Story Coach, Amy Woods Butler, helps people write life stories (theirs or other's), and she uses Scrivener. To give her listeners a better idea of how Scrivener can help them, she asked me to join her for an interview on her podcast.

We discuss the concept of Scrivener as a “project manager for a book,” lots of ways to use the software for any kind of writing, and how weird it is that I'm a left-brained non-plotter. If podcasts are your thing, or you just want to know what I sound like (jk), check it out!

Here's a teaser…

Exploring Scrivener on the Indie Author’s Journey Podcast

word PODCAST with headphones on side for the letter C

I had fun talking to Terry Heath on the new Indie Author’s Journey podcast about what Scrivener is, what I like about it, what’s new in Scrivener 3, and my suggestions for approaching how to learn it.

Clocking in at 34 minutes, this episode’s not too much of a commitment, so I hope you’ll check it out.

And if you need to spice things up, drink every time I say “cool.” Do not do this while driving. 😉

My first podcast appearance

Today marks my first time on a podcast. It's with the crazy bunch of guys from the Self Publishing Podcast, and we're basically gushing about Scrivener the whole time. It was fun!

I'd love to hear what you thought, or what you love about Scrivener that I didn't get to mention.
