Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! I was at my first-ever major league hockey game last night and the announcer said the average American eats more than three pounds—yes pounds—of candy on Halloween. How’re you doing on your pumpkin-sized stash so far?

If you can roll out of the house after eating all that candy, I’ll be on a romance panel and signing books at the El Segundo Public Library Author Fair, this Saturday, November 2nd from 10am-5pm. If you’re in the Los Angeles area and can tear yourself away from the perfect weather, stop by!

So tell me. What's your favorite candy? (I'm a sucker for Justin's Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cups and Ritter Chocolate with Marzipan.)

Tell your friends!

Hi Gwen! I like the Justin peanut butter cups too. They are much better than Reese’s. I also like Altoids peppermint candy a lot. Someone I worked with long years ago introduced me to them. I’m trying to stay off candy tonight. In fact I feel quite guilty about giving the neighborhood kids sugary candy….they will just get way too excited and out of hand with their parents from even one or two bites.

Hi, Bob! Yay for Justin’s. 🙂 I know what you mean about giving out candy. Without kids at home, we’ve turned into scrooges who turn out the lights and hide inside or go out, lol. I don’t feel too bad, though. I think the kids in our neighborhood go somewhere else anyway. Apparently, there are “hot spots” where all the kids go and we’re not it. 😉

Ooh, yeah, Curtis. Those were one of my faves before I stopped eating dairy. I can get my fix with a Chick-O-Stick, though. 😉 Good to hear from you!
