Mein Himmel

Without a doubt, my favorite stop on our tour of Europe was Lucerne, Switzerland (though Innsbruck was a close second). It was clean, surrounded by tall, craggy mountains, lush green, set on a clear, beautiful lake, and big enough to have everything you need, without being too bustling.

Maybe these photos will help show why Lucerne is my own version of heaven (himmel).

That's a small taste of one of my new favorite cities. Have a great weekend!

I’ve been doing a lot of research on Europe and traveling again lately. Neither of my guys have been over there….well, makes sense for the 6yo, but the husband is really interested in traveling overseas more. And Sweden has been a recent interested after seeing some of the pictures from friends. It looks amazing. Thank you for sharing your pictures! I can see why you fell in love with the place.

Sybir: Six might be a little young. We were glad we waited until the boys were a bit older, even though I’ve been itching to go back for decades.

Sweden is beautiful too. There are too many places to go, and not enough time/money to do it! I hope you and your guys get a chance.
